The efficiency of plastics processing in almost every operation is affected by the prevailing relative humidity. An RH of 40 – 60% is optimal for most process steps.

The aim is to produce the optimal humidity without fluctuations and with minimum energy consumption. Granules remain dry without becoming brittle. Inclusions as well as unwanted reactions during processing are prevented. Pleasant humidity also has a positive effect on the health of employees.
