Background: Indoor climate and air humidification in banks
Modern bank buildings combine administrative and office areas with customer advisory spaces, all of which place high demands on comfort, hygiene and overall indoor environmental quality. Especially during the heating period, excessively dry indoor air becomes a challenge – both for employees and customers.
Sparkasse Kitzbühel therefore pursued the goal of sustainably improving the indoor climate and ensuring uniform, hygienic air humidification directly in the rooms.
Solution: High-pressure direct room atomization by merlin®
An ALPHA high-pressure direct room humidification system was implemented, regulating humidity directly in the room via finely atomizing AER atomization modules. This type of direct room humidification enables demand-driven humidity control – independent of ventilation or air-conditioning systems.
To ensure consistently high water quality, an RO‑EASY reverse osmosis system was integrated in combination with a water filter.
Integration via Modbus as well as flow monitoring enables transparent system monitoring and seamless integration into the building management system of Sparkasse Kitzbühel.
