the accuracy of these capacitative meters. The ability to select the measuring depth is a great advancement in the HM9 range and the high number of pre-stored wood types is convenient.
As a developer, I find the automatic calibration function and the quick characteristic curve selections brilliant”, said Bauer. The HM8 was available on the market for 25 years.

Non-destructive and precise
The HM9 devices enable non-destructive wood moisture measurement. “That is extremely important to us. We have a finished product and cannot accept any damage or measurement traces”, said Bauer, for whom exact measurement results play a massive role due to the maxed out product superstructure. “The HM9 is very accurate in our wood moisture range of up to 15 %. Using it is simple and it is praised by all”, said Bauer.
