30 years of Merlin Technology – a family business with innovative strength

On Friday, June 13, 2025, we celebrated a very special event in Ried im Innkreis: 30 years of Merlin Technology GmbH. Over 250 guests - including long-standing partner companies, our employees, their families and customers from the very beginning - celebrated this milestone with us.

A family festival with heart and technology

As an internationally active family business in the field of air humidification, adiabatic cooling and water treatment, it was important for us to celebrate this anniversary with the people who have shaped merlin^® since 1995. People are at the heart of everything we do - then as now.

The charming moderator Katharina Hellmayr led through the day, which shone with numerous highlights:

• The talk "Better than the rest since 1995 - about courage, milestones and opportunities" with the management Johann Reisinger, Dominik Reisinger and Johannes Part provided exciting insights into three decades of company development.
• The day was accompanied musically by Ottetto con Brio - the Innviertel woodwind ensemble in which CFO Johannes Part himself plays.
• Company tours of our production building and offices gave our guests an insight into the daily work and innovation behind our products.
• Entertainment was provided by a magician, show acts by our employees and a lovingly designed children's program.
• Of course, culinary delights were also a must. Smoking BBQ from Rohrbach provided us with grilled and smoked delicacies, and our Merliners spoiled the guests with homemade desserts.

Opening of Plant 2 - focus on water treatment

Another highlight was the official opening of our new "Plant 2" location. This is where we will focus more on water treatment in the future - a central basis for the quality of our humidification systems. With this step, we are sending a clear signal for sustainable growth and further technical development.

International partnerships in the spotlight

As part of the celebrations, we also honored two long-standing international partners:

• Vladimir Harazim from Drekoma in the Czech Republic for 30 years of successful cooperation
• Gérard Gaudin from France for 20 years of partnership

These partnerships are exemplary of our active international cooperation and our partner network in over 40 countries worldwide.
