The production processes require extremely stable, precisely controlled and hygienically monitored climate conditions – especially in ISO Class 5 to 8 cleanrooms. Reliable humidity control is essential to ensure quality, process reliability and production stability.

Our Solution

Since 2023, AT&S has been using ORBIT WING^® systems from Merlin Technology at its Leoben site for hygienic air humidification in air handling units.

The installed solution supports, among other things:

• Continuously controlled humidity for maximum process safety
• Hygienic humidification in accordance with current cleanroom requirements
• Stable climate conditions in ISO Classes 5 to 8
• Reduction of electrostatic charges that can cause defects and scrap in electronics manufacturing

This creates optimal conditions for reproducible production processes and long-term system stability at AT&S.
